Dealing with Lower Back Pain
So apparently, I have arthritis in my lower back. A spinal disc (L5 disc) in my lower spine is deteriorating, so everything is super compressed. On top of that, I also have osteophytes, which means that the edges around the lower spinal bones are abnormally sharp. This equates to major nerve pinching, which cases a lot of pain and pain running up and down my legs.
The doctor suggested I do 3 things:
1. Start swimming
2. Sleep on a hard surface
3. Stop lifting heavy weights
We’ll see how everything goes
